Alongside having the opportunity to simply walk-in and race, this race spot also has plenty of fun for those looking to get competitive thanks to their Summer Go-kart Racing Camp!
Race Track Overview: Speed Circuit features a large indoor racing track filled to the brim with twists, turns and even a few elevated areas.
The atmosphere is laid back and fun, and there are various tables and seats situated around the track for those who do not wish to race on the track but simply want to spectate and soak in the fun.
Type Of Go-Karts: As a family fun spot first and foremost, it’s important to note that this might not be the place to visit if you are looking to try some serious racing.

If so, the K1 Speed Indoor racing track is one of the best racing spots near San Diego for you to visit and offers something for all the family to enjoy.
At K1, you have the option of simply walking in and booking for a few laps around the tracks, or if you’re looking to get competitive, you can sign up for their Ultimate Kart Racing League Challenge and Junior Challenge.
Race Track Overview: As for the track? Well, K1 Speed features one big indoor racing track instead of various, but the track is so large and versatile you won’t find this to be a problem.
The K1 track features twists, turns, elevated spots and even “slippy” areas for extra speed.
The atmosphere is a thrill and there are also plenty of viewing platforms for those who don’t wish to race. Per race, the amount of racers tends to vary, although rest assured there’s always plenty of room for everyone.

The CalSpeed Karting is located nearby San Diego and is one of the best places for adults looking to enjoy some real racing.
So, it might not be the best place to visit if you’re looking for a day filled with fun family activities and memory-making.
Race Track Overview: Unlike any other indoor go kart racing arena that we have seen so far, the CalSpeed Karting Center features one big race track that can be configured in multiple different ways for never ending versatility.
The track is 75 miles long in total, and features 15 twisting corners, as well as turbo straightaways for racing.
Type Of Go-Karts: CalSpeed offers state of the art go karts that have the ability to reach 40mph and higher.
However, if you have your own go kart, you will be able to bring your own go kart along with you on the days that they offer general practice sessions that are open to the public all throughout the week.

So much so that there is an outdoor track that is the most frequently used, a kid’s track, a speed-lovers turbo track with a free-fall section, as well as a bumper kart track. This is a great spot for all ages!
