Track: Go Kart world sets itself apart from other Go Karting locations in L.A because of its variety of tracks.
For Juniors, you’ll be able to choose from either the Kiddy Track for slow, beginner rides, the Bumper Track for more fun, the Mini Indy which is slightly more complex.
For adults, they have the Slick Track and the Turbo track with a 32 degree corkscrew barrel turn. No matter what level or age group you’re taking, there is going to be something for you here.
Karts: Just like with their tracks, Go Kart World has a long list of different karts to match.
For the youngest visitors, there are battery powered Go Karts that top out at 3 mph – a great introduction to Go Karting or driving in general. They also offer bumper karts and junior karts for older kids.
For adults, they have ‘SLICK’ Karts that can be cut down to ½ speed so that the rider can get more confident before hitting top speeds. They also offer ‘Champ’ Karts that require racing experience and can reach up to 42 mph.
For experts, they offer Euro Karts that can reach high speeds and require a specific racing license.
Speeds: Top Speed on the Euro Karts is 45 mph.
Food & Beverages: They offer party packages that include food such as pizza, cake, cupcakes, and non-alcoholic drinks. They also offer catering by Full Send BBQ if you’re looking to have a proper feast.
Booking: When it comes to booking at Go Kart World, they have lots of different options, including party packages for Children, Teens & Adults, Corporate or Group Outings. Each of these comes with races and catering included depending on what parts of the packages you buy.
Restrictions: There is a large range of restrictions depending on the track and karts you’re racing on. Kids as young as 3 years old and 32” can come and ride along as passengers in double-seater karts.
The more complex the Kart, the taller the child/teen/adult will have to be. For the Super Track with full speed karts, there is a restriction of 60”.

Track: K1 Los Angeles offers the incredible Torrence Track which is an indoor track featuring 12 corners for a fast-paced racing environment.
This is also an indoor track, which means your day will never be spoiled by bad weather. We generally found that K1 tracks are always well maintained and a blast to race on!
Karts: When it comes to the actual Go Karts themselves, K1 does things a little different from other places you might find. All of K1’s Karts are electric, meaning that they are quieter and better for the environment, without losing out on any of the thrill of a traditional Kart.
These electric Karts are 20 horsepower and are some of the fastest in the industry.
Speeds: The top speed for k1 electric karts is 45 miles per hour, except you’re going to find that it’s unlikely you’ll reach these speeds on the Torrent track, as there aren’t too many straight sections.
Food and Beverages: Like all K1 locations, this track has a ‘Paddock Lounge’ attached, which is a restaurant that offers a long selection of different comfort foods to keep you going after a hard racing section.
Entertainment & Merch Shop: There is a merch shop that sells pieces of K1 memorabilia, as well as an entertainment section with arcade games to chill out after a race.

CalSpeed Karting
If you’re looking for an iconic and impressive Go Karting experience, check out Calspeed Karting Center in LA.
CalSpeed is an outdoor karting center that is a great place for both beginners and more experienced racers, with options of different karts and a track that can be changed into multiple configurations.

Track: Calspeed offers a few different tracks that you can experience. Their largest is almost a mile long with up to 18 different twists and turns. They are able to change the track around so that there are different configurations that make return trips to Calspeed different every time!
Karts: CalSpeed has a number of different karts that you’ll be able to rent out, depending on what you’re looking for, including Sport Karts, Honda Karts, 206 Junior Karts, Tag Micro, and Minis.
Speeds: Top speed of their karts goes up to 50mph.
Food & Beverages: There are no food facilities on-site, but there are many small restaurants surrounding the complex.
Booking: Calspeed offers a 12 minute session for $35 dollars, with additional rental charges for gloves and helmets. There are generally 7 sessions per day that you can get involved with!
Calspeed is rather popular so they recommend reserving a slot so that you don’t get disappointed. They also have opportunities for Kart owners to book a day session and use the tracks, racing programs for additional growth, and group events if you’re looking to book a team-building exercise!

Mb2 Raceway
For our next pick, we have another indoor Go Karting track that is perfect for group bookings. It’s less intense and professional than the last track we put on this list and can hold parties of up to 60 people!
They also have a tracking system so that you can join their racing league and see how you stack up after your race.

Karts: Like many indoor Go Karting centers, Mb2 offers electric karts. But don’t worry, these are still super fast and fun to drive! They’re handmade in Italy and mean that you won’t come out smelling of or breathing in gas fumes.
Speeds: The top speeds of their karts are up to 45 mph.
Food & Beverages: Food and drink are available, and there are special options for birthday parties and events.
Booking: They have multiple packages that you can choose from, including birthday parties with food and a party room included, and weekday racing slots that you can easily book! They also have VIP party rooms which can be used for additional events after racing.

This is for the kind of racer who wants real competition and excitement.
Karts: There are multiple karts available including Junior Karts which cap out at around 25 mph, Turbo Karts with single seats that cap out at 45 mph. They also offer Sidewinder karts which are two-seaters.
Speeds: 45 mph for the high–torque Turbo Karts.
Food & Beverages: Boomers have a variety of different food trucks and restaurants available, including a bar and catering service made for groups of 10 or more.
Entertainment: Because Boomers is a fun center, there are multiple other activities you can choose including Speedway Golf and a large Arcade.
